Archaeology Laboratory and Conservator Assistant

-Conducts conservation procedures on artifacts within archaeology laboratory Documents condition of artifacts.
​
-Measures, photographs, and catalogs artifacts
according to museum guidelines established in
collections management procedures.
​
-Acts as an information resource for gallery facilitators, and interpreters with new upcoming lab activities, conservation work, and artifacts in the lab
​
-Aides in day to day assistance to lead conservator
including collections object care and management, exhibit installation, and layout.

Personal Mission-
I am a catalyst for creating novel museum experiences and a steward for museum collections, connecting the two to uphold and empower cultural relevance, identity, history, and the arts.

Vision-
Through transparency, inquiry, and due diligence, I will be a museum leader and vanguard. I will utilize and preserve museum collections in service to a new standard of cultural representation in museums.
